Program Details
The Pretrial Support Group provides support to clients to minimize their feelings of isolation and normalize their experience within the federal court system. The program helps participants address daily stressors (i.e. loss of employment, relationships, etc.) that can be a part of this time in their life. The program focuses on three areas:
Healthy Coping Skills - the Pretrial Support Group helps clients identify healthy alternative coping skills, communication skills, and assists clients in getting their needs met while they are working through the federal court system.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - the Pretrial Support Group works with clients to address thinking errors, core beliefs, and values.
Keys to Successful Incarceration - the Pretrial Support Group helps clients to prepare for the different phases of the process (sentencing, self-surrender, designation, and prison classification).
