STATIC99R/ACUTE2007 Certification Training

Seattle, Washington - September 27 - 29, 2016

The U.S. Probation Office for the Western District of Washington is hosting a three-day STATIC99R/ACUTE2007 certification training.

The Static 99R is an actuarial instrument designed to estimate the probability of sexual and violent recidivism among adult males who are known to have committed a sexual offense against a child or non-consenting adult. It is the most widely used actuarial instrument in the world for assessing risk of sexual recidivism. The Static 99R provides a measure of long-term risk potential. The Stable and Acute 2007 include dynamic risk factors that are also of importance for predicting future risk and which are relevant to the treatment and management of sexual offenders. The training will provide an overview of the history and development of these measures, a review of recent changes, updates, and how to score and interpret.

There are no costs/registration fees associated with this training.

Registration is now closed, and confirmed attendees were notified via email.
